A new trend seems to be going on among the rich car enthusiasts, and that is driving full-on race cars on the streets. The difficulties of registering these cars for road use notwithstanding, one struggles to see the point of doing such a thing, cool though it may look.
A while ago we showed you a Ferrari Enzo FXX track car casually driving on public roads and attending car meets in America. Now check out this Ferrari 550 Maranello Le Mans GTS doing pretty much the same thing in the Netherlands:
Of course we get why anybody would want to drive the Ferrari 550 Maranello Le Mans GTS as his daily driver. We absolutely love the looks of this car, particularly with that racing aero kit. The 550 Maranello is one of the most iconic looking Ferraris of all time and those wings and spoilers only make it look cooler. The car also features a front-mid-mounted V12 engine tuned to 600 horsepower in the racing version mated to an XTrac 6 speed Sequential.
This particular Ferrari 550 Maranello Le Mans GTS is a right-hand-drive Prodrive car with the names of the pilots still inscribed on the doors!
