There so many different versions of Porsche 911 available these days (19 different models) that it seems the best way of choosing the right one is to pick based on the looks alone. On that basis we would go for the Porsche 991 Carrera GTS because it just looks so hot in the flesh.

Porsche 991 Carrera GTS is designed as a gap filler between the ordinary Carrera models and the high-end GT3 and Turbo variants. It is not particularly faster than a normal Carrera, as it only has 30 more horsepower, but as is always the case with the 911 small changes have a big effect on the end result.

Besides the cool and subtle aero kit with a ducktail spoiler, Porsche 991 Carrera GTS also comes as standard with Sport Chrono package, PASM active damper system, Bi-Xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and the sport exhaust system.

So yea, choose your Porsche 911 based on its looks and don’t worry about the performance. Sure, there are some variants that are faster and some that handle better. But you are getting a Porsche. Even the base model is not going to be a slouch. So get the one you enjoy looking at the most.
