The season opener for the World Endurance Series (WEC) was held over the weekend at the Silverstone race track in the UK and unsurprisingly Audi won it. But the result is not what care about at the moment. The reason we mentioned the race is because Porsche has released some photos of their race cars, Porsche 991 RSR and 919 Hybrid, in action that you do not want to miss.

The highly artistic photos show the race cars at some of the most exciting moments of the competition. In one of the shots, for example, we see the 919 overtaking the Porsche 991 RSR which is looking seriously hot in its wide body racing aero kit. In another, Mark Webber is trying to get out of the car as fast as he can for a driver change, and in yet another, we see the pit crew hard at work getting the car fit again and sending it out there.

In short, this gallery contains some serious motorsport porn. But don’t worry, it is completely safe for work!
