Former Ferrari and current Williams driver Felipe Massa was one of the first Formula One hotshots to get himself a Ferrari LaFerrari. Massa’s black LaFerrari has been spotted a few times before, but this time we get to see it up close and personal in these brilliant pictures.

The reason Massa’s black LaFerrari might be of interest to petrolheads, apart from the fact that it is a Ferrari LaFerrari, is that his car is a custom model adorned with beautiful red accents that lift the car and give it a very unique, very special look. The accents are found on the edge of the front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, and mirror caps. The same treatment is applied to the black interior which is garnished with red detailing.

Many F1 drivers are into hyper cars these days which is both natural and a bit surprising. Given the fact that this lot drive super fast machines on their day job, you would think they have no interest in fast cars off the race track. But the opposite is true. That, we reckon, is because they are mostly young and dynamic fellas who also happen to be very rich. They have different tastes though. While Massa has remained loyal to Ferrari, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton have got themselves some beautiful McLaren P1s.
