There have been so many different variants of the Aston Martin Vantage over the years that frankly it is kind of hard to get excited about yet another one. But if there’s one Vantage variant worthy of your respect it’s the new GT12 simply because it is the fastest and most hard-core version to date.
To know what Aston Martin Vantage GT12 is all about you only need to see and hear it in action. And that’s exactly what we have here, some raw footage of the car going up and down the Nurburgring:
Aston Martin Vantage GT12 is in fact a road-going version of the Vantage GT3 race car. It was supposed to be called GT3 too, but then Porsche said that they are prepared to sue the Brits if they call their new car GT3 because apparently they own the rights to that moniker. And so the new Aston is called the GT12 which is a bit unimaginative, but makes sense seeing as the car is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine pumping out 600 horsepower.
