As you may know, the debate surrounding the possibility of a BMW M3 Touring kind of heated up this past couple of weeks. There have been some good renderings of it and we even went so far as picking the best alternative for it.

Now in response to all this brouhaha designer Jon Sibal decided to release what can be described as the best possible version of BMW M3 Touring. This puts an end to all the argument. BMW shouldn’t make an M3 Touring unless they can make it look like this!

Of course, we do realize that what is being proposed here is full of contradiction. BMW M3 Touring is a station wagon, or estate, car and they are supposed to be practical and family oriented. With that width and that ride height, Sibal’s car is anything but that. It features extra wide fenders and massive aero parts, and it’s been slammed right to the ground on a set of wide wheels and fat tires.

So no, it probably wouldn’t work in the real world. But we just don’t care because, well, look at it.  This thing looks absolutely amazing and for that reason alone we think it is a feasible idea… at least for tuners… for when BMW finally makes a normal M3 Touring.
