Now that Alfa Romeo has unveiled the long-awaited Giulia sedan and sorted out its production details, they can shift their attention to the SUV project which was also in the pipeline for a long time. The speculation game has already begun with this rather nice rendering of the Alfa Romeo SUV.

Of course, nobody has any clue yet as to what this upcoming Alfa Romeo SUV is going to look like. So based on an educated guess, designer X-Tomi decided to stick the face of the Giulia to the body of a generic SUV. It is fair to say that the real thing is not going to look exactly like the Giulia, but we will definitely see some of the same design cues in there. The front fascia will probably fairly similar to what you see here, but the headlights will mostly likely be new.

To be honest with you we are more concerned about the mechanical features of the Alfa Romeo SUV. Although Alfa surprised us with some properly hot powertrains for the Giulia, including a Ferrari-developed V6, the word is the SUV will be based on one of this rubbish Jeeps whose name we can’t even remember. Alfa, as you know, is part of the FCA group now which owns the Jeep brand.
