So after a prototype version of the new Bugatti Chiron (name not confirmed yet) hyper car was spotted at LAX – most likely on its way to Monterey for a private viewing event – the company has now released a video officially teasing what they call “a new chapter.”

You don’t get to see the Bugatti Chiron in this teaser, and the sketch above belong to the Veyron. But you do get to hear a good poem Bugatti has commissioned to capture the essence of what their new hyper car is all about. At the end of the video the Chiron revs its engine a few times and boy does it sound good – certainly a lot better than the Veyron. As for what we know so far about the technical specifications of the Chiron, it will be powered by a hybrid system capable of producing 1,500 horsepower, and it will have a top speed of around 460 km/h.

We expect at least a few pictures of the new Chiron to leak out of Monterey over the next few days, so stay tuned.
