Ferrari Speciale and Speciale A Spotted with Matching Paint Jobs

Ferrari Speciale Lotus Livery 0 600x366 at Ferrari Speciale and Speciale A Spotted with Matching Paint Jobs

You don’t see this everyday, that’s for sure! Somewhere in Austria supercar spotters captured photos of two Ferrari Speciale, one Coupe and one Aperta (convertible), wearing matching paint jobs. And what a paint job it is.

The Speciale twin feature what appears to be a Lotus-inspired paint job with British racing color base and white/yellow stripes. This is the racing livery we used to see on Lotus race cars back in the day, but it looks even better on these Ferraris. We reckon the man, or woman, who ordered this paint job to Ferrari’s Tailor Made division first did on the hardtop Speciale and liked it so much, he went ahead and ordered the Aperta as well.

Ferrari Speciale, in case you don’t know, is a hard-core, track-focused version of the 458 Italia powered by a 605 horsepower version of the 4.5 liter V8 engine that is now largely decommissioned. It comes with its own unique bumpers and aero parts as well as electronic features, chief among which a Slid Control system that allows for safe and easy powerslides. They say even the most ham-fisted driver can drift this car like he’s Ken Block.
