At this year’s Pebble Beach Concours McLaren Special Operations division is showcasing their first fully tricked-out 570S model. Although this McLaren 570S MSO looks pretty much purple, the unique paint job is actually called Mauvine Blue, and it comes with a matching accents inside the cabin.
Some have criticized the 570S for looking a bit peculiar, especially around the front. Looking at these live shots of the McLaren 570S MSO at Pebble Beach though, we don’t see what they are on about. Granted, that nose isn’t as delicate and beautiful as the on the 650S. But you have to take into account the fact that the 570 is the entry-level McLaren. And it looks acceptable for its rank.
This special model, as mentioned, also features a bespoke interior where you’ll find Mauvine Blue accents used in strategic places such as the steering wheel and the seat upholstery. The rest is black leather and Alcantara plus a healthy dose of carbon fiber. Engine-wise, the 570S MSO is identical to the standard version which you can buy today for around $180K. Included in the price tag is a 3.8 liter biturbo V8 with 570 horsepower.
