Pagani went to an enormous length when designing the Huayra and employed active aerodynamic flaps to eliminate the need for unsightly wings and spoilers. They are not really exquisite things to look at. Now though a Pagani Huayra prototype was scooped on the road, sporting a pretty sizable rear wing.
That raises a lot of question as to what Pagani might be up to. We knew for quite sometime the Italian exotic maker wants to launch a hard-core, performance-minded Huayra, so this prototype could be the test mule for that car. Or, it could be a limited edition track only version.
What we can discern from the pictures of this Pagani Huayra prototype is that it sports a large front splitter, a big rear wing and an equally massive diffuser. All that means the car must have more power than the Huayra’s standard 700 horsepower, because why would they bother with the aero kit if the car wasn’t to be any quicker.
