In another one of their “super tests” Sport Auto took the new Porsche Boxster Spyder to Nurburgring Nordschleife and Hockenheim and put it through their usual battery of tests. Our favorite of these tests is the 0 to top speed acceleration test. So let’s see how quick is the Spyder.

You might argue that straight line performance does not reveal much as to the true capabilities of the Porsche Boxster Spyder as a track-focused sports car. That’s true, but seeing how fast the car reaches its real world top speed, you get a good sense of what that flat-six engine can do.
