Theophilus Chin’s latest rendering of a future production car is the Audi A5 Cabriolet, and boy does it look good. That’s the thing about Audi’s drop-top four-seater. Bo matter how dull the hardtop version might be, the Cabrio version always drips with class and charisma.
It is said that Audi cabriolets are among the classiest cars one can buy owing to the fact that they are understatedly luxurious and effortlessly cool, like a handsome man in a custom made suit. The Audi A5 Cabriolet Chin has penned here certainly fits that description.
The car features the current Audi styling trends like the frowning LED headlights and the hexagonal grille that seems to be getting thinner with every new car they launch. Then there is the long and slender body with fenders that are flared just so, and the traditional silver pillars and mirror caps. Yes, Audi A5 Cabriolet is a serious looker. They always cost an arm and a leg, these Audis, but they are totally worth it.
Now what we would like to see is a RS5 version of this car with a TFSI V8 engine under the hood. We just hope they don’t get carried away and ruin the whole design by fitting overly aggressive bumpers and aero kits.
