The more hard-core Porsche aficionado among you are probably scratching their heads right now, trying to figure out the specs of this Porsche 993 GT2 Evo. They should not bother, because what you see here is a modified car, a 993 Turbo upgraded to GT2 Evo spec by its famous owner, the Lord of Cars Mr Harry Metcalfe himself.

So this Porsche 993 GT2 Evo looks like a 993 GT2, but it’s four-wheel-drive and packs 500 horsepower. As Harry puts is, “it’s a serious bit of kit.” The car also has a cool backstory, how Harry found it and traded an old Porsche he didn’t much like for it and even got some cash back.

In many ways Harry’s Porsche 993 GT2 Evo is the perfect classic model to own, not just because of the performance. We think the 993 was the last of properly good looking 911s. It occupies the perfect spot between looking vintage and modern, and it has the perfect body size for a 911 as well. That is not to say modern versions of the car are fat and ugly, but you get the picture.
