So far Forgiato has been the only tuner with a proper widebody kit for the C7 Corvette. But their crown is now being challenged by Ivan Tampi Customs and a Corvette Stingray Widebody they call XIK. What they’ve done here is give the car a facelift rather than a mere styling kit.

And it looks superb. Of course, if you like discrete and subtle sports car, the Corvette is not your cup of tea in the first place. But if you like muscle cars and the whole Shock N Awe culture, then Tampi’s Corvette Stingray Widebody is going to set your pants on fire with its super aggressive looks and, of course, massive girth.

Tampi’s Corvette Stingray Widebody XIK is a full 4 inch wider than the stock Stingray thanks to a set of new fenders designed to complement the ‘Vette’s sexy styling. They couldn’t stop there though and designed also new skirts, a sporty new bonnet, custom front and rear bumpers, and a set of aero parts. The kit is, naturally, made of carbon fiber.

Ivan Tampi Customs will make 100 units of this 14-piece wide body kit for the Stingray and, we suppose, also supplies the ultra-wide wheels and tricked-out suspension required to perfect the look. Production begins in mid-January 2016.
