With all the cool new versions of the McLaren 650S – including Spider, 675LT, and Le Mans – it is understandable if the owners of the plain Jane coupe version feel a bit down about their cars. They should not despair though, as there are things they can do to spice things up a bit.

This custom McLaren 650S shows what can be done with a couple of nice and subtle wrap and an interesting livery design. This car was done by Impressive Wrap Hong Kong who first wrapped the Sarthe Grey car in protective film, and then garnished it with gloss yellow stripes and accents. Apart from the GT3-inspired stripes down the middle of the car, yellow is also used to garnish the front spoiler, mirror arms, side sills and the hips of the car, as well as the rear apron and the spoiler.

In addition to the yellow stuff, this custom McLaren 650S coupe also features 4D Carbon side scoops and rear wing. As mentioned, these carbon look parts are very subtle and to an uninterested eye look pretty much stock. With a car like the 650S you don’t want to mess too much with the styling, not just because you could well end up ruining the thing, but also because you don’t want to mess up the aerodynamic properties of the car.
