The first baby Mac to arrive in Canada is a Vermillion Red McLaren 570S delivered to Pfaff McLaren. This is the first time we get to see a red 570 in live photos, and we have to say it does look rather charming. It certainly looks nicer than green and orange examples, though not as cool as the ones in storm grey.
The Vermillion Red McLaren 570S is a top spec model fitted with brown leather interior featuring embossed McLaren logos and a plaque proudly advertising where it was made. The baby Mac is pitched as the most usable super car you can buy, which is why it has the nicest interior among all McLaren products. It even has an electro-hydraulic pump which allows the ride height to be increased by 40mm at speeds of up to 60km/h (37mph).
But being usable and practical does not mean the 570S lacks the performance you expect from a McLaren. The car features a 570 horsepower version of the firm’s 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and can reach a top speed of 328 km/h (204 mph), while averaging an excellent 26 mpg.
