Those of you who visited last year’s SEMA show will certainly remember seeing this custom Ford F-150 with its cool Gulf livery hanging around the place. The Gulf F-150 by Galpin Auto Sports probably didn’t get the press it deserved, so here’s another up close look at it.
The guys at GAS created this truck as an homage to the Le Mans winning Ford GT40s of the yesteryear, hence the Gulf livery, and fitted it with a ton of custom components, most of which they built in-house. Gulf F-150 is fully kitted out for off-road work, what with the custom suspension, roll bar, front and rear guards and railings, and off-road wheels and tires.
Our favorite highlights of this awesome truck include the Gulf wrap, obviously, the front grille and what they have done with the front bumper, the spare wheel arrangement, and the interior with the GT40-inspired seat covers. The wheels on this truck are ADV06RM Truck Spec Light Duty models in gunmetal grey in size 20 inch, and they are supported by Cooper off-road tires and Wilwood brakes.
