Aston Martin Cambridge announced they have commissioned the build of five very unique V8 Vantage models from the company’s Q division. Called Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Blades Edition, these cars pay homage to the five stunt aircrafts of The Blades aerobatic team.

Now, to some people it might seem a bit of a stretch labeling these cars a whole new edition since they are lightly customized versions of an existing model. But still, Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Blades Edition does get enough exclusive features to set it apart from regular models and justify its price tag.

The Blades Vantage models come only as coupes and feature a silver paint job complemented with a black roof and orange accents on the front grille, rear hatch, and brake calipers. Needless to say, the livery is inspired by that of the stunt airplanes. Inside the cabin the dominant theme is black what with the leather upholstery and carbon trimming, but you will find some orange stitching and piping, plus The Blades logos embroidered onto the headrests.

Performance-wise, Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Blades Edition is identical to the regular V8 S, meaning it is powered by 430 horsepower 4.7 liter V8 engine mated to a flappy paddle gearbox. The limited edition costs £119,950 apiece. The photos you see here are renderings of what the finished product will look like when it’s ready for delivery in March.
