It is usually the full, official pictures of upcoming models that leak online. But in the case of the Ferrari FF Facelift, the car is shrouded in so many layers of mystery that when a leakage happened, it was of its teaser. The car is reportedly being read for debut at 2016 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
The photo above has been uncovered in Ferrari’s 2015 financial report presented to the investors in a section called “2016 Outlook”. So you know it definitely belongs to an upcoming model. But whether or not it’s the Ferrari FF Facelift we’re expecting is not confirmed yet. For all we know, this thing could be a coachbuilt or a limited version of the car.
The teaser image does not show much of the vehicle apart from its headlight and grille, and we’re sorry, but when we first looked at it we thought it was a Toyota GT86. We’re sure that’s not the case. It’s those LEDs in the headlight that kind of fool you. The new FF most likely resembles the 488 in the way it looks and boasts an uprated version of the existing V12 engine, some say with close to 700 horsepower.
