The new face-lifted version of the Porsche 911 Carrera – known in the business as Porsche 991.2 – has been the subject of some controversy because, first, it hasn’t got so much a facelift as Botox, and second, it comes with a turbocharged three-liter engine that experts have mixed feelings about.

Now, the average consumer does not really care about the engine and underpinnings of the car. As far as they’re concerned, the new turbocharged engine is miles more efficient than the previous motor, and at 420 horsepower it is stronger as well. They don’t give a hoot that it has lost some of the immediacy and responsiveness of the old unit.

What they might care about is the looks, and that’s where this GT silver Porsche 991.2 comes in. This car not only features a superb color that makes the new design feature of the car pop, it also boasts some factory-fitted aero parts that give it a whole new look. With that rear diffuser insert and massive front spoiler lip even the least interested onlooker will not confuse this Carrera S with any of the previous versions.

Mind you, this car is a fully kitted out model with the Sport Package, Platinum Satin wheels, LED headlights, Premium Package Plus, and much more. It is on sale at Pfaff Porsche in Canada for $153,370 CAD.
