This past weekend Mugello circuit in Italy hosted yet another Ferrari track day event, this time “Passione Ferrari,” attracting a huge number of Prancing Horses to the venue. Among them there were three uniquely specced Ferrari F12tdf which are definitely worth a closer look.
The coolest one, at least in our opinion, is the Grigio grey example you see above, featuring matte black stripes and gloss black wheels. Ferrari F12tdf looks better in darker colors, perhaps because it has way too many grilles and holes and protruding aero parts on its body and a dark color helps obscure some of them.
That is not to say the red ones are not good looking. Quite the contrary. We are very fond of the red Ferrari F12tdf here with the blue and white stripes. This design is inspired by the racing liveries of old Ferrari competition cars, revived first for the 458 Speciale and now a Tailor Made option available for all models.
Just to recap, the F12tdf, itself an homage to the Tour de France racers of the yesteryear, is powered by a 780 horsepower V12 engine, is lighter than the standard F12, and also features a rear-wheel steering system for better handling.
