So the new Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, the replacement for the FF, is starting to reach the showrooms around the world. And we get our first glimpse of the car in the flesh at the car maker’s showroom in Cannes where a red examples is awaiting its buyer.
These photos offer a chance for us to examine the looks of Ferrari GTC4 Lusso the way they really are and not through dishonest press photos. And we’re glad to report that, at least compared to the FF, the Lusso is a job well done. Granted, the front-end is still a bit, well, peculiar, but the rest of the car is just fantastic. Our favorite parts are the rear-end design and the interior with its massive central screen and the passenger instrument panel which is rather pointless but totally awesome.
Ferrari GTC4 Lusso is also leaps and bounds better than the FF in terms of the technicalities. Powered by a 690 horsepower and 697 Nm of torque V12 engine ( 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, top speed 335 km/h), the Lusso boasts a revised and improved version of Ferrari’s 4RM-S all-wheel-drive system which makes it a fairly capable off-road car, although you wouldn’t want to cross the Sahara in it. This system is designed mainly to get you up the hills of St. Moritz during the ski season!
