The latest German sports car to come into Mcchip-DKR workshop from one door and leave it out the other having received lots more power is the latest version of the Porsche 911. The turbocharged Mcchip Porsche 991 Carrera S facelift gets a two-stage power kit.
Stage 1, consisting only of DKR’s regular software upgrade through ECU remap, will improve the output of the new Carrera S’s 3.0 liter flat-six from 420 horsepower and 500 ft.-lbs. of torque to a much more satisfying 475 horsepower with 570 torques. Seeing as this kit costs only 2,499 Euro, Stage 1 Mcchip Porsche 991 Carrera upgrade is something every owner should get.
And if you are getting that, you might as well go all the way and order Stage 2 which gives you access to a full 485 horsepower with 585 ft.-lbs. of torque. This one includes the aforementioned software mod plus a Mcchip-DKR valve exhaust system with sport catalytic convertor made by Capristo. Stage 2 costs a rather hefty 8,349 Euro, but it makes your Carrera S as powerful as a GT3.
Also available for Mcchip Porsche 991 Carrera Mk2 (and also for the Cayman 987 or 981, the Boxster 987 or 981 and the 911 type 997) is a PDK transmission software upgrade which delivers faster shifts for 1,490 Euro.
