The very thought of driving a hyper car like Pagani Huayra BC on anything other than perfectly smooth tarmac and in anything other than excellent temperature is enough to send a shiver down the spine of every car lover. So these guys had better not look at the video we have after the jump, as it shows the BC not only driven on snow and ice, but beaten around.

Don’t worry though. This is not the work of some mental rich guy who has nothing better to do than driving his expensive cars like a loony. This harsh winter test has been part of the rigorous test and development trials Pagani Huayra BC underwent in preparation for production.

Since Pagani is a boutique car maker and tends to buy most of the components they use rather than just making themselves, they could bring in engineers and technicians from Bosch Engineering GmbH, a very famous name in the auto world for their electronics and automotive hardware parts, and the guys responsible for the Huayra’s ABS and ESP systems. They have done such a fantastic jobs with Pagani cars that Horacio himself sings their praise: “The philosophy of our vehicles is a combination between Art and Science, Technology and Design, Performance and uncompromising safety.
