Another Ferrari LaFerrari bites the dust, this time a very special one boasting a bespoke livery. The hyper car somehow managed to take out a Lancia and ended up mounting a restaurant sign it’d knocked over.
So quite an achievement considering how low and how fragile the LaFerrari is. The driver, carried away by all the fun he was having in this year’s Ferrari cavalcade rally, must have been going at enough speed to turn his low and wide supercar into a projectile capable of such feat of destruction. The damage to the front-end of the LaFerrari is substantial, and it appears the underbody may also need some serious repair work, all of which means the bill is going to be absolutely mahoosive. The car itself is said to be worth 3.5 million Euros. But that was before the crash, of course.
We are sad that such tragedy should befallen this amazing hyper car. But we have to admit the crash has result in one amazing spectacle. I mean, the combination of the damaged hatchback, the wrecked LaFerrari, and the knocked down “Ristorante El Zoco” sign is all very cinematic, isn’t it? This is, we imagine, what a staged crash would look like in a Tarantino movie.
