Feast your eyes on the magnificent majesty of the 1964 Porsche 356 Carrera 2, the granddaddy of the 911. This slate grey beauty with red leather interior has been completely restored and renovated by Canepa and is now one of the finest 356 examples in the world.

It is true that this car shares a big chunk of its DNA with the Beetle, but so do human beings with apes. That doesn’t stop you from enjoying their company – or your own , for that matter – does it? Being a Carrera 2 Cabriolet means this 1964 Porsche 356 C has the 2.0 liter B4 engine with a four-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel-drive.

To be honest the 356s are famous for driving like a tractor, but who cares. You don’t by a 1964 Porsche 356 to drive it, anyway. You buy it as an object to be looked at and admired.
