We make no secret of that fact that we’re huge fans of Porsche specialist RUF and their unique products. One of their cars we like best is RUF CTR3 because it just goes beyond any notion of tuning and enters the realm of coachbuilding. This time we take an up close and personal look at a juicy red example.
Built based on a 911 Carrera, the RUF CTR3 comes in two regular and Clubsport version, with the latter boasting a large aero kit with fixed wings and stuff. They both look good, but the Clubsport is designed more for track work whereas the regular version you see here is more of a supercar for cruising Casino Square in Monte Carlo. This thing is the 911 supercar Porsche never built, and with 777 horsepower and a top speed of 218 mph it is one of the world’s quickest cars as well.
