It’s been a while since we last heard of the boys at Carlex Design interior shop. Turns out they’ve been busy with one of the greatest projects of their careers in which they have restomoded the interior of a 1967 Ford Mustang. In terms of desirability, and on a scale of one to ten, this car gets a solid seventy-two.

The 1967 Ford Mustang Carlex has upgraded in this program is the coveted Fastback variant which you may know better as the Bullitt Mustang. It is quite possibly the coolest thing in the world with four wheels, but we have to say we are entirely sure about the candilicious paint job on this one. Fastback ‘Stang works best in dark green or black.

But the main highlight of Carlex Design 1967 Ford Mustang is the interior. What they are offering here is the best of both worlds in the sense that they have retained the classic design of the cabin and all its elements, but given the whole thing a modern twist with materials such as black nubuck, leather and carbon fiber. It is the way they have arranged these items together which make this interior an absolute work of art. We’re especially fascinated by that carbon steering wheel which looks like one of those old wooden jobs compete with screws and everything.
