The British market is getting a new, high-spec version of the i20 Hyundai called the Turbo Edition. Set for launch later this month and packing a whole lot of kit for its size and price, the Hyundai i20 Turbo Edition is not as hot as its name might lead you to believe, but it’s a decent supermini for the money.

Speaking of money, the starting price for this well-spec small Hyundai hatchback is £12,975 for which you get a 1.0 turbo 100PS petrol three-cylinder engine with CO2 emissions of just 104 g/km which means it’ll also be cheap to run, maintain, insure, and tax. Hyundai i20 Turbo Edition also looks a little different from regular models thanks to highlights such as 16” alloy wheels and a number of cool colors like Polar White, Aqua Sparkling, Sleek Silver, Stardust Grey, Phantom Black and Red Passion.

But as with all special edition Korean cars, the thing most appealing about Hyundai i20 Turbo Edition is the level of equipment it boasts. In that aspect you get all the goodies of the i20 SE upon which this model is based-that is, Bluetooth, DAB digital radio, cruise control with speed limiter, and a leather wrapped steering wheel with audio and phone controls-plus a rear view camera, automatic lights with dusk sensor, and satellite navigation via a seven-inch integrated touch screen with a free seven-year TomTom Live Services subscription.
