After the success of their bespoke exhaust system for the 2016 Camaro SS V8, Borla has now announced the launch of similar setups for the entry-level 3.6L V6 and 2.0L Turbo models. As before, the system is available for all versions, including those with factory Dual Mode exhaust, and it results in a sweet soundtrack.
The Oxnard-based exhaust maker observes all their quality measures even with these entry-level products and promises a drone-free sport sound and excellent durability. Their systems are hand-made from aerospace-grade, T-304 stainless steel and in the case of 2016 Camaro come with oversized exhaust tips available in two-tip and four-tip (Dual Mode) configurations, a Y-pipe center section, ATAK and S-Type muffler technology, Performance and Touring mid-pipe options, and valve control technology.
So you can fit your 2016 Camaro 3.6L V6 and 2.0L Turbo with the ATAK mufflers if you want a rich, powerful, sonorous exhaust note, or go for the more restrained S-Type mufflers if you are not a show-off and enjoy a more subtle tone. Optionally, you can order for the 2.0 liter model a Touring Mid Pipe for an even milder output or just go the other way and get the Performance Mid Pipe and Performance Down Pipe designed for competition use.
