Director Michael Bay has been keeping us posted about the cars he is featuring in the latest Transformers movie by releasing pictures of the new Bumblebee, the Mustang cop car, and Mercedes AMG GT R. What he didn’t tell anybody was that he is also adding a McLaren 570S and a multi-million dollar Lamborghini Centenario to the list, both of which were spotted on the set in London.
Now, we reckon even Bay himself didn’t know he was going to have a Lamborghini Centenario available to him. You see, the studio probably would have never signed off on using such a rare and super expensive car. But Lambo has been pretty active with publicity efforts for the Centenatrio, making cool clips for it and getting a place for it in the Forza Horizon 3. So who knows, maybe it was Lamborghini who approached the filmmakers.
It is kind of sad to see how much resources Hollywood throws at mediocre directors and crap movies because later on they will get to sell action figures and lunch boxes off of them, while movies with some actual substance like those based on novels or real-life events, spend years on the shelf, most never seeing the light of day.
