Hyundai has gotten really good with the teasing games, especially when the subject is a new product of their high-performance N division. This yet-to-become-operational arm of the company is responsible for making hotted-up, sporty models, and they are coming to this year’s Paris Motor Show with this, the Hyundai N Concept RN30.
Based on the latest generation i30 hatchback, the Hyundai N Concept RN30 uses know-how from Hyundai Motorsport (HMSG), Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center (HMETC) and Hyundai Motor’s Performance Development & High Performance Vehicle Division to ensure the product they are presenting is more than just a cool body and actually has some performance substance. Given that six or seven years ago Hyundai came up, out of the blue and with zero experience in making sports car, with the excellent Genesis Coupe, you can count on the RN30 to be a pretty decent proposition.
Though the Korean car maker is yet to confirm it officially, the word on the street is Hyundai N Concept RN30 will be turned into a production model in a couple of years, most likely called Hyundai i30 N. We are looking forward to that.
