Now that Aston Martin has officially shown us the DB11 Volante there is no point for rendering artists to waste time on that car. That is why they have switched their focus on even more exotic versions of the car like this racing Aston Martin DB11 you see here.
Of course, there will be in due time an Aston Martin DB11 race car, mostly likely a GT3 version to compete at Le Mans and other endurance series. But we doubt it’s going to look anything like the wide bodied, fully aero’d DB11 designer Rain Prisk has come up with. Not that it’s not a good look for the car, but it’s a tad too wild for a FIA spec car.
What this unique DB11 is then is a showcase of what an extreme visual treatment looks like on the car. It has massively wide fenders, a huge aero kit with front splitter, vented bonnet, and rear wing/diffuser combo, and it has those Vulcan-inspired headlights. So if you’re ever bored with how your DB11 looks, you know what you can do with it.
