2008 Lamborghini Reventon 0 600x381 at Spotted for Sale: 2008 Lamborghini Reventon

Lamborghini Reventon is a hugely important car not just because it was one of the world’s first multi-million dollar hyper cars or that it looks like a jet, but also because it was the car that that started this that started this whole limited edition game from which Lambo has benefited ever since.

The Reventon, which is just a re-bodied Murcielago with some fancy instruments and cool paint job, showed Lamborghini that they can basically make a body kit for an existing model, give it an interesting name, and stick a limited edition badge on it, and then sell for an insanely high price. And people would buy it. Lamborghini Reventon is the forefather of the Veneno, the Sesto Elemento, and more recent Centenario. At this rate Lamborghini will soon be making more money selling limited editions than they do regular models.

This virtually brand-new 2008 Reventon, number 3 out of 20, has just become available for sale at Canepa Collection for an undisclosed price. The car has just 612 miles on the clock and comes with a brown suede interior.
