If you are an avid reader you know that a few weeks ago Aston revealed their first powerboat called the AM37. The luxury vessel has now inspired a bespoke version of the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante build, naturally, by the Q department.
As you would expect, the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Inspired by AM37 is an absolute beauty. That said, with the debut of the new DB11 all the other Astons have started to look kind of old and dated. Not that the DB11 is perfect, but in terms of modern design features that car is like a spaceship compared to these old brutes. Still, we’re pretty sure no one is going complain about the way this baby looks.
Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Inspired by AM37 features the same color theme as the powerboat with a pale maritime blue exterior that brings the mind the color of the calm seas and an a two-tone interior featuring white and brown leather over the thickly upholstered seats, the door cards, and the dashboard. There is also a generous amount of wooden trims and sculpted aluminum accents and trim pieces.
Whereas the Aston AM37 powerboat boasts two 370 hp Mercury diesel or two 430 hp Mercury petrol engines with a 520 hp Mercury petrol engine available on the S model, The Vanquish Volante comes only with a V12 petrol engine delivering 568 bhp. You can’t drive this thing on the water, but on land it is pretty darn fast.
