In their quest to find Britain’s best driver’s car of the year 2016 the guys from Autocar hit the track recently with a bunch of really cool sports cars. One of them was the ugly but lovely Porsche 718 Cayman S, a car that at first sight appears to be a knife at a gunfight but has a lot of guts to make up for its lack of oomph.
So here’s a brief, concise, and to the point track test of the Porsche 718 Cayman S along with some commentary on how it did against all the other pretenders to the title, which by the way include some huge playas such as Porsche 911 R, Aston Martin GT8, Honda NSX, McLaren 675 LT and BMW M2.
