As they revealed earlier this year, German tuner Techart is in the process of putting together a thorough upgrade package for the new 718 series Boxster and Cayman. Here we can have an early look at the Techart Porsche 718 Boxster which will make its debut at the upcoming Essen Motor Show.
Boxsters have always been pretty sensitive to visual mods, and the latest generation is no exception. That is why a few simple changes such as the addition of a small front spoiler lip, a rear diffuser, a fixed wing, and a set of custom wheels has been enough to make Techart Porsche 718 Boxster look like a bespoke car. It has to be said though, the paint work and the yellow accents also help with that on this particular 718.
Besides the visual treatment on the outside, Techart Porsche 718 Boxster also gets a nice interior package the main highlight of which is a “Type 7” sport steering wheel uses the 911’s optional Porsche GT Sport steering wheel as its basis. This cool little wheel features exotic materials and designs in its construction such as finest leather, lacquered trims, carbon fiber segment, Alcantara, leather piping and maintains all the features of the standard unit. Custom-painted trims, details and decorative stitching are among the other features of the Techart cabin.
