Roush Performance had promised they were going to do something amazing with the new Focus RS and they made it happen at this year’s SEMA show. They turned up with the Roush Ford Focus RS, a 500 horsepower monster hatchback with supercar-like performance and devilish looks.

The beasty Roush Ford Focus RS is a meeting point for some of the best upgrade parts available for the hot hatch right now. The tuner has equipped the 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-banger in this car with custom ROUSH calibration and some part from Ford Performance catalog. Such is the potential of this EcoBoost motor that these fairly light mods gave it a boost to 500 horsepower. We would like to see how the car’s Drift mode operates now that it has like 150 extra horses to play with.

Besides the powertrain, Roush Ford Focus RS also benefits from styling and chassis upgrades. It comes with ROUSH TrakPak body kit, custom graphic stripes and XPEL Stealth Paint protection, 19″ ROUSH Forged wheels by Weld Racing wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires, and ROUSH TrakPak 3-way Adjustable Suspension with camber plates by KW suspensions. Like we said, it’s a collection of the world’s finest tuning bits for the RS. After this any tuned Focus RS is going to look mediocre.
