SEMA Preview: Camaro Turbo AutoX Concept

Chevrolet CamaroAutoX 0 600x398 at SEMA Preview: Camaro Turbo AutoX Concept

Unlike Ford who has put together quite a display of custom Mustangs for this year’s SEMA show, Chevrolet seems pretty unenthusiastic about the whole thing. They waited till the very last days and have now unveiled the Camaro Turbo AutoX with a 2.0 liter four banger.

In fairness though, Camaro Turbo AutoX is equipped with many excellent performance parts and could serve as a good template for someone trying to upgrade their own Camaro. The car gets the LTG 2.0L turbocharged engine with a performance suspension, brake system, air intake and exhaust system, and it boasts an interesting paint job and wheels as well which gives it a unique visual appeal.

In terms of chassis and suspension, Camaro Turbo AutoX sits on Chevrolet Accessories 20-inch aluminum wheels and Goodyear 285/35R20 performance tires backed up by Chevrolet Performance suspension lowering kit (20mm) in addition to larger stabilizer bars and stiffer suspension links and custom strut bar. There is also a front brake kit, featuring six-piston calipers and 370mm, two-piece slotted rotors.

Engine-wise, the Shock Yellow Camaro with Pearl Nickel hood stripes and satin Carbon Flash Metallic accents on the hood vents, rockers and rear diffuser boasts on its 2.0 liter engine a cold air intake system, 20 pound pressure twin-scroll turbo, and Chevrolet Performance exhaust system with a polished 4-inch outlet.
