Toyota Land Speed Cruiser Heads Company’s SEMA Onslaught

Toyota Land Speed Cruiser 0 600x356 at Toyota Land Speed Cruiser Heads Company’s SEMA Onslaught

Toyota turned up at this year’s SEMA show with no less than 30 vehicles in all shapes and form and from all eras. Of course not all of them are worth an up close inspection, but we have picked a few that are, including something truly off-the-hook crazy called the Toyota Land Speed Cruiser.

There is a slammer trend going on at this year’s SEMA and Toyota is playing into it with the least likely candidate for such a treatment, a Land Cruiser full size SUV. This special creation is slammed right to the ground and not just for the show. Toyota Land Speed Cruiser features a 5.7-liter Toyota V8 with two Garrett turbos bolted to it, making it the fastest SUV in the world with a top speed of 220 mph! If only they made a production version of this…

As for the other notable cars, we have the Toyota XTREME Corolla featuring custom wheels and paint, interior, and turbo engine, a six-speed manual, Sparco seats and a JBL sound system, an Exterme Sienna swagger wagon with big TRD brakes, performance wheels and tires, a splitter, rear diffuser, spoiler and dual exhaust as well as Learjet interior and air suspension system, the Prius G which is built as a cornering monster capable of pulling 0.99 g on the racetrack, the Toyota Motorsport GmbH GT86 CS-Cup which has the sweetest specs a GT86 can have, Tacoma TRD Pro Race Truck built for desert racing, and a number of less exciting spectacle such as Corolla 50th Anniversary display and some vintage JDM models.
