Hyundai’s new year’s solution seems to be enhancing the value of their cars because they keep rolling out so called Value Edition models one after the other. The latest of the bunch is the Hyundai Veloster Value Edition which comes with a host extra features which in total represent a saving of $950.
Well, that’s what it seems like on paper. The fact is all this whole value malarkey is nothing but a marketing trick to fool people into thinking they are getting a better deal. 2017 Hyundai Veloster Value Edition has a price tag of $21,350 compared to a base model which costs $18K, and the biggest highlights of it include a premium audio system and navigation system, among other things, all of which can be installed aftermarket for around two grand tops. So yes, there is a better deal here, but only for Hyundai.
At any rate, if you want a ready-to-go package and don’t have time to mess around with specs and options, then Hyundai Veloster Value Edition could be something to consider. The car comes with a 6-speed EcoShift Dual Clutch Transmission, 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/40 R18 tires, Panoramic Sunroof, Proximity key with push button start,7-inch Navigation system including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Automatic climate control, Blue Link Connected Car System and Remote Start, and Premium Dimension audio system, with 8 speakers, external amp and subwoofer.
