Porsche Macan Turbo Performance 0 600x360 at Official: Porsche Macan Turbo Performance Package

So on the same day that Mercedes-Benz released their new GLC 43 AMG Coupe model Porsche came up with a new edition of the Macan to remind people if they find that big Benz unappetizing there is always this option available to them. The new model is sits at the top of the Macan range and it’s called the Porsche Macan Turbo Performance Package.

To an uninterested eye there is literally no difference between the Porsche Macan Turbo Performance Package and the base diesel variant. But hard-core Porsche fans will have a jolly good time naming all the extras featured on this high-end model. On the outside the main highlights include 21-inch 911 Turbo design wheels with spokes painted in high-gloss black, LED headlights equipped with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) Plus, and numerous other black elements. Inside the cabin this model comes with black leather interior with Alcantara elements, colored and carbon elements such as the door entry guards with the model logo lit up in white.

But what truly sets Porsche Macan Turbo Performance Package apart from the regular versions of the crossover is the performance part of it. The turbo V6 in this model packs an extra 40 horsepower for a total of 440 hp and 442 lb.-ft of torque which is enough to take the car from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 169 mph. What’s more you get a newly developed brake system, a lowered sport chassis, the Sport Chrono Package, and a sport exhaust system, all as standard. The only optional extra you may want is the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with air suspension. Otherwise this Macan seems pretty much perfect and at $86,445 fairly good value – for a high-spec Porsche – as well.
