Honda has launched a Type-S edition of its world famous Accord model to the European market. You see that Type-S and think that this should be a hotted-up sporty version of the Accord, and well it has some sport ingredients like aerodynamic parts on front and rear bumpers, side skirts and 18 inch wheels, but as for power, there is not much in it!

Honda Accord Type-S is powered by a 2.4 liter four-banger which develops 201 hp. That is nowhere near enough for a sport saloon. You can have it with a six speed manual, or a five-speed sequential gearbox for an extra 1,900 Euros.

The Type-S Accord also comes with red leather upholstery, the whole cabin is garnished with red leather and polished aluminum parts for some sporty feeling.  It is also quit well equipped, it comes with a top-notch stereo with six-CD changer, MP3/WMA capability, ten speakers, bluetooth connectivity and voice activation! The car also has Xenon headlights.

Honda will only produce 900 units of this Type-S and each starts at 32,000 Euros. It is not much of a sports saloon, but considering its price, this car is quit good value, plus it’s a Honda, which means it’s reliable as hell!
