Chevrolet confirmed details of the 2011 Camaro V6 clarifying that its engine will get a power boost form 305 hp and 273 273 lb-ft, to 312 hp and 278 lb-ft. Since this car has to compete with the 2011 Ford Mustang and its efficient V6, it is equipped with VVT and direct injection as well as four independent cam phasers to become more economical.
