The new generation Chevy Camaro is still on its way reaching the British market, and it will take a few more months as the company announced it’ll be launched in UK in 2011. The British Camaro comes only in one trim level and one engine. It’s a good engine though, a 6.2-litre V8 developing 426bhp.

That enables the car to go from zero to 60 mph in less than five seconds, but the top speed is limited to 155. It also features a dynamically tuned chassis to cope with Britain’s twisty roads.Further specs and pricing of the car will be announced closer to the launch.

The UK-version of Camaro will be on display at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
