As you may know, EPA has certified the Chevrolet Volt as a 93 MPGe car. So many people were tempted to buy it thinking it’ll do 93 MPG, but they must pay attention to that little e in the ‘MPGe” rating! That means the Volt does 93 MPG equivalent compared to a gasoline powered car. The true numbers you will be getting are 37 MPG for gasoline engine, and 60 MPG combined with both electric and gasoline engines.
