Renault Fluence is UK’s cheapest EV, but if you want something more classy, more fashionable, and more usable, then you gotta have the Chevy Colt for £28,545.

Like all other electric vehicles, that price is effective after the £5,000 government grant. To arrive in UK in early 2012. the Volt has an electric range of just 30 and 50 miles depending on terrain and traffic conditions. But when other EVs need to be plugged in after that distance, the Volt can keep going for another 600 miles or so (U.S. Spec) thanks to its range-extender engine.

All Right-Hand-Drive UK Volts will come with full leather interior as standard. Look for the car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
