This new special edition Mazda MX-5 is called the Karai, it’s limited to 165 units, and it’s for Germany.

As for the details, we have to mention the obvious lime green paint job which is complemented by a black retractable metal plastic composite roof. The mirrors, grilles, and wheels are also black, sort of, and it features two black stripes at each side as well.

Inside the cabin most of the things are black, including the Recaro sports seats, steering wheel and dashboard trims, which to be honest look old and cheap, especially the audio system seems to belong to 1980s. You also get aluminum pedals, alcantara for seats, and leather for the wheel.

In terms of technicalities, the Karai which means sharp comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, lowered suspension and sport exhausts. The last two are optional, part of the Sport Package. The power comes form a standard 2.0 liter unit that churns out 160 hp.

And the price of this special edition MX-5? €30,000.
