Abarth announced its plans for 2011 IAA motor show, and it includes premiere of a very special version of the Fiat 500 Cabrio, called the Italia.
Distinguished with its unique body kit, cool Blu Abu Dhabi livery exterior color, 17-inch wheels, and dual exhaust pipes, the 500 Cabrio Italia commemorates the 150th anniversary of Italian unity.
It is powered by a 1.4 Turbo T-Jet engine that delivers an impressive 160 HP (118 kW) and maximum torque of 230 Nm at 3,000 rpm in Sport mode. It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox and does 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds, while averaging 6.5 liter per 100 km.

The 500 Cabrio Italia’s real party piece though, is the superb interior. There you find The “Abarth Corsa by Sabelt” seats in natural leather with backrest in carbon fibre embellish, pedals and gear lever knob in Alutex aluminium glass fibre material and running board in carbon fibre with dedicated “Cabrio Italia” graphics. The dash is also colored in the same Abu Dhabi Blu as the body.
They will only make 150 units of this model.
